How to Bypass a Proxy Server in a LAN
Your computer's IP address is blocked from servers you connect to when you use a proxy server via a LAN, such as a corporate network. However, you may encounter slower internet access or other difficulties connecting in some circumstances.
By changing settings in your internet browser, you can bypass a proxy server in a LAN. Proxy server choices are available in all browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. You may not be able to connect to the internet without using a proxy server on some networks, or you may be breaking corporate policy if you do. Evaluate your network's configuration and policies on a local level.
How to Bypass Proxy on Google Chrome
You can also change your proxy settings in Google Chrome. Instead of using its own network configuration panel, the browser will use the one provided by your operating system.
