Cash App is a popular financial app that allows users to manage their finances in various ways, including sending, receiving, and withdrawing cash from ATMs. Remarkably, Cash App offers fee-free ATM withdrawals, allowing you to access your money whenever you need it without incurring additional charges.
While Cash App offers fee-free ATM withdrawals, not all ATMs will let you withdraw cash from your Cash App for free.
So if you're curious about which ATMs are free for Cash App withdrawals, you've come to the right place.
In this guide, I'll show you what ATMs you can use to make free withdrawals from your Cash App account balance.
Table of Contents
What ATMs Are Free For Cash App?
Cash App withdrawals are typically free with in-network ATMs—meaning you won't have to pay ATM withdrawal fees each time you withdraw cash from an ATM that's in the Cash App network.
In essence, Cash App offers two options for free ATM withdrawals: in-network ATMs and reimbursement for out-of-network withdrawals.
1. In-Network ATMs
You can make unlimited free withdrawals at in-network ATMs. These ATMs are mostly commercial banks and are part of the Cash App network and won't charge your Cash Card for ATM withdrawals.
To find in-network Cash App ATMs, follow these steps:
- Tab the Cash Card tab
- Select "Find an ATM"
- Select a location near you using the map or search by address
Once you've found a convenient location, you can use the options to get directions or copy the address into your preferred navigation app.

2. Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Here's another great feature I love about Cash App "out-of-network reimbursement".
Perhaps, anyone who receives direct deposits through Cash App would definitely love it.
Cash App will offer reimbursement for one out-of-network ATM withdrawal per 31 days. When you withdraw money from an out-of-network ATM, the ATM operator will charge you fees for the withdrawal. This is when Cash App comes in—it will reimburse you for this fee within a few days.
However, you need to have at least $300 in direct deposits into your Cash App each month to be eligible for this reimbursement.
If you don't receive direct deposits through Cash App, you'll be charged a $2.50 fee by Cash App and it does not end there—the ATM operator will equally charge its own fees.
Yeah, withdrawing cash through the Cash App card at ATM can be costly at out-of-network ATMs and if you want to avoid these fees, you'll want to set up direct deposits right away.
