How to Get Unbanned from Roblox (Even After 30 Days Ban)

If you recently got banned from Roblox, you'll need to appeal to get your account back. Here's the right way to appeal.
how to get unbanned from roblox

Just as any other platform, Roblox relies on a set of rules to govern the way we use the platform, and typically, going against these rules repeatedly should, without any doubt, lead to a ban.

Well, to be honest, it doesn't really matter whether you've been banned for violating the rules or just by mistake, because you've still been banned, after all.

So if you're looking to get unbanned from Roblox, I've compiled the steps you need to take to get your account back after a ban, even if it is after 30 days.

Why Roblox Bans Accounts

Roblox is a platform (or call it a virtual universe) that not only lets you create or share your experiences and imaginations, but also be anything you want or that you've always wanted to be, with the difference that it's all virtual.

Because of this, the platform attracts over 79 million active daily users visiting and playing popular games on the platform, like Brookhaven RP, Blox Fruits, Adopt Me!, Tower of Hell, and more.

That's a massive figure to handle by the Roblox moderation team, which is why they have an automated systems in place that detect any violation and acts upon it to either issue a warning or, in severe cases, a ban.

You can get banned on Roblox for threats, bullying, harassment, self-injury to profanity, cheating, scams, and spam—there are just many violations that go against their Community Standards.

Funny enough, not all Robloxians are friendly, as they can repeatedly report your account and content just so you can get banned.

How to Get Unbanned from Roblox

The good side of a Roblox ban is that you have the chance to appeal their decision if you think the ban was a mistake. Even if it wasn't a mistake, you still have a chance to appeal with the difference that you need to own up to your mistake and appeal for a second chance.

The way you appeal will determine whether or not your account will be reinstated, which makes this entire thing a delicate process.

To make sure you stand a chance of getting your Roblox account back after a ban, you need to follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Log in to Your Roblox Account on a Browser

Open a browser of your choice, and log in to your Roblox account. It doesn't matter whether it is on mobile or PC, but I recommend you do it on your PC for convenience with the process.

login to roblox

I recommend you log in through the "Violations & Appeals" link you received in your email from the Roblox moderation team, so it will take you directly to the appeals form. On the other hand, if you can't find the link to the form, you can access the appeals section here.

Step 2: Click on Support to Access the Appeal form

After logging into your account, you should see a page listing the different violations you have on Roblox. You can directly click on the Appeal option next to a violation to appeal the decision. If you need tips on what to tell Roblox so they can reinstate your account, check the next step.

However, if you don't see the violation listed (which is the case with most Roblox accounts), you can click on the "Support" option to access the appeal form.

Step 3: Fill out the Support Form

This section is a must-check even for those who had their violations listed in the "Violation & Appeals" section because it shows exactly how you need to appeal, whether you're in the wrong or you simply got banned for a mistake from their end.

This support or appeal form is in two sections—one requiring your contact details and the other your issue details.

So, first things first, provide your contact details, including your username (optional), first name (optional), and your email address.

provide contact details

Even though the username and first name are optional, I recommend you provide these details because it is already a sign of seriousness from you.

Now, for the next part of the form, you'll need to describe your issue. This is where most Robloxians get the entire process wrong because they are looking to play the system, and I can assure you that doing that will only get Roblox to stand by their decision.

The key and secret here is to be as honest as possible, whether it is when selecting the category or when describing the issue.

Before going with selecting the category, let's select from what device we got banned. In my case, it is on PC. You can select the one that best matches the ban in your case.

After selecting the device, you need to select your category. This is where most Robloxians encourage tricking of the process, but it won't help because before submitting your issue, the Roblox team already knows why your account was banned.

As an example, someone getting banned for cheating looks to trick the process by selecting the category "Account Hacked or Can't Log in" as a category while there has been no unauthorized access witnessed on their account. Immediately Roblox figures out that you're trying to trick the process, they'll maintain their stand regarding your ban and you won't be getting your account back.

If you were banned for cheating, scamming, spamming, or even bullying, just select "Moderation" as the category. In short, you need to make sure that the category and subcategory you select best match your violation.

select category and sub category

Now it's a great time to describe your issue. You need to be very brief while being precise and respectful. I'll be sharing two formats that you can use to give you great chances of getting your account back, whether you were banned meritedly or banned by mistake.

So if you actually got banned for violating the Roblox rules, you can use this format or script and edit it to fit your violation.

Hello Roblox Team,

I understand my account was banned for [your violation], and I take responsibility for the violation. I truly regret this mistake and assure you it won’t happen again. I kindly ask for a second chance and the reinstatement of my account. Thank you for your consideration.

This is how it should look in the description box.

Now, if you believe you got banned by mistake, you can use this format to appeal Roblox's decision and get your account back.

Hello Roblox Team,

I understand my account was banned due to [your violation]. However, I believe this was not my doing. I sincerely ask for a review and reinstatement, and I’ve taken steps to secure my account to prevent future issues. Thank you for your time.

This is how this one should look in the description box.

When you're done with editing what will be sent, tap "Continue" to submit your appeal.

How Long Does it Take the Roblox Appeals Team to Respond?

Now comes the difficult part of the process—waiting to hear back from the Roblox support team. Usually, they should take 1 to 3 days to get back to you with their response, but due to the saturation they have to deal with, it can take even up to 2 weeks for them to get back to you. You just need to be patient and wait for up to two weeks.

If you don't hear back from them after that time, then submit another appeal because submitting within short time frames will get your appeal even more ignored by the support team. You need to be strategic on this aspect as well.

How To Get Unbanned from Roblox for 1 Day

If you got banned on Roblox for 1 day, the best thing you can do here is to wait for the ban to be lifted after the one day, and I recommend that you do not do anything to trick the system during your ban.

When I talk of trick, I simply talk about using a VPN to change your IP because it can even lead to a more severe ban (a permanent ban)—which I think is something you definitely don't want.

Surely, VPNs are legal to use in most countries, but Roblox won't think of it that way, especially during your ban period.

How to Get Unbanned from Roblox Without Appealing

The only way you can get unbanned from Roblox without appealing is if you were banned for a short period (say 1 or 3 days), and an appeal is not required from you to get the ban lifted. On the other hand, if your ban requires an appeal, you'll need to submit one within 30 days if otherwise, you won't be getting your account back.

And I'll strongly discourage you from going into these creepy methods other sources will ask you to follow because not only can they get your account permanently banned, but the authors of the pay-for instant unban methods are typically scammers looking to exploit your present situation.

Can You Get Unbanned from Roblox Without Waiting?

No, you cannot get unbanned from Roblox without waiting because this wait period is necessary for the Roblox team to monitor your account activity and see if there are more violations to be considered.

Besides, whether you were banned for a day or appealed for a reinstatement of your account, you'll still need to wait for your account to get unbanned unless you know Roblox's CEO, David Baszucki.

The Inconveniences of Roblox Bans and Restrictions

Roblox bans come with many downsides, with the first being that not every ban can be appealed.

Usually, a temporary ban (one for 1, 3, to 7 days) and permanent bans, as well as bans on moderating your content, are eligible for an appeal. On the other hand, bans resulting from chargebacks or account terminations initiated by a parent/guardian cannot be appealed. So if you unfortunately find yourself on this side of a ban, it can be really frustrating to know that there's literally nothing you can do about it.

Secondly, you are only allowed to appeal within 30 days of being banned. Unless you're an EU citizen (who can appeal within 6 months), appealing on the 31st day of your ban won't get you any further with your case than where you are right now.

Finally, submitting duplicate appeals for a moderation won't get you any further even if they have already rejected the appeal internally without informing you.

How to Get Unbanned from Roblox After 30 Days

Usually, when you receive a Roblox ban, you'll have up to 30 days to appeal, after which you won't be able to appeal anymore. The only possible way to get unbanned from Roblox after 30 days is to be an EU resident or citizen to benefit from the EU Digital Services Act, which gives you up to 6 months to appeal a decision.

Final Thoughts

Roblox is a very popular online gaming platform that attracts millions of daily visitors and requires a robust moderation system or team to make sure everyone follows the rules, which is why bans are becoming increasingly popular on the platform.

If you recently got banned on Roblox, it doesn't necessarily mean you were violating the rules, but it can also be because of a mistake.

This guide shows how to appeal Roblox's decision and get your account back after a bank, even if it is after 30 days. But do keep in mind that you need to appeal within this 30-day period to get your account back if you aren't a resident of the EU.

Either way, I'll be happy you share your experience in the comments below.
