It doesn't matter whether you're using Android, iPhone, or even PC—it should work just as well for any of your devices experiencing the issue.

Step 1: Clear CapCut's Cache

Surely, the first and foremost step to take whenever you're looking to resolve this issue with CapCut is to clear the app's cache.

Cache data stored for your sessions in the app, and if there was any bug in any of these sessions, it should be recorded in your cache for some time, and can lead to the internet connection problem that you're facing now. So you'll need to delete (or let me say clear) this cache for the app to run smoothly, just as if it were your first session.

One thing I love about CapCut is that it makes it easy to clear the cache, be it on Android, iOS, or even PC. You don't need to access your device settings or go through long processes or delete the app on iOS to clear the cache, because everything is done just inside the CapCut app.

To clear your CapCut cache on Android and iPhone:

  1. Open the Capcut app and click on the "Me" tab.
  2. Tap on the Settings icon to open up settings.
  3. You should see "Clear cache" from there, just click on it to clear the app's cache.
